Ultrasound Monitoring in Flow Lines
The Ultrasonic Sensor is a non-intrusive tool which is installed in fluid lines where there is a change in direction downstream. This tool allows us to see the production behavior of Solids (Sand, Particles) and the variation of concentration over time.
The ultrasound equipment detects particles of sizes from 0.3 microns in gas and 15 microns in liquids; these parameters can vary depending on the fluid velocity conditions.
Ultrasonic Sensor

The ultrasound equipment detects particles of sizes from 0.3 microns in gas and 15 microns in liquids; these parameters can vary depending on the fluid velocity conditions.
Sensor Location

The equipment is installed at a point where there is a change in direction of the fluid (ideally a 90* downstream elbow).
Data Acquisition Unit

Data Acquisition System with Solar Panel, memorized. Optional satellite system.
Sampling

At the same time that the Ultrasound Monitoring is performed, a sample of the fluid is taken.
Field Laboratory Screening

It is taken to the laboratory and the screening process is carried out with various meshes from 25 microns according to the client's request.
Granulometric Behavior

Granulometric Distribution Chart with Sieves.
Solid Behavior (Sand, Particles)

Graphic behavior of the entrainment of Solids (Sand/Particles) over time, it can be represented in various concentration units (mg/Lt, Lb/1000Bls, etc.). If the client wishes, parameters such as flow, pressure, draw down, etc. can be included.
