Drop of Oil, Emulsion and Solids
In fluid separation processes, it is important to know the different phases that are transported in the production waters to know the oil, emulsion and solids content. Using the Digital Imaging Technique, the sizes of the oil drop, emulsion drop and solid particles can be determined, also giving results of concentrations. Using this technique helps in the design of separation equipment, calculate separation efficiency, chemical treatment and design improvement.
Sending Samples to Laboratory

The samples are received liquid from plant production water, injection well water, well production samples, etc.
Laboratory Preparation

In our laboratory, samples are prepared to run on the Digital Imaging Equipment.
Camera Analysis

Once the samples are prepared, they are run on the Digital Imaging Microscopy equipment, where photos of each particle of oil, emulsion and solids are taken and stored digitally. The equipment's lenses allow particles from 2 microns onwards to be visualized.
Result Digital Images

Sample digital photos.
Graphic Presentation
